About Ragademy
Ragademy is an online Indian music academy dedicated to making the beauty of Hindustani classical and contemporary Indian music accessible to students worldwide. We offer structured courses in vocal traditions — from classical ragas and devotional bhajans to ghazals and Bollywood songs — as well as instrumental training in tabla, harmonium, sitar, and bansuri.
Our approach honours the time-tested guru-shishya tradition while embracing modern technology, bringing the warmth and discipline of traditional teaching right to your home through online classes.
Meet Our Founder
Namaste! I'm Vikas Tripathi, the founder of Ragademy.
Music has been the constant thread in my life. Growing up in a household where morning ragas filled the air and evening bhajans brought the family together, I learned early that music is not just an art form — it's a way of being. My journey through Hindustani classical music, guided by wonderful gurus, shaped not only my voice but my character.
I founded Ragademy with a simple belief: that the beauty of Indian music should be accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world. Whether you dream of performing classical ragas, singing devotional bhajans at a temple, or simply want to hum your favourite Bollywood tunes in tune — there is a place for you here.
At Ragademy, we honour the guru-shishya tradition while embracing modern technology. Our online classes bring the warmth and discipline of traditional teaching right to your home. Every student is unique, and we tailor our approach to nurture your individual musical journey.
I invite you to take the first step. Book a free trial class and experience the joy of Indian music with us.
With music and gratitude,
